Alexandra Novak Foster M.ed.

Alexandra Novak Foster M.Ed. serves as Education Manager at Arts for Learning Connecticut since May 2018, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining Artist Programs, managing large grants and projects, overseeing media and marketing, and providing professional learning opportunities to artists and teachers. Alexandra has also been an Adjunct Professor of Education at Quinnipiac University since October 2019, teaching "Facilitating the Arts in the Elementary Classroom." In addition, Alexandra operates as a Freelance Artist with Pearl Studio New Haven, offering artwork, handmade jewelry, private art lessons, and arts-integrated academic tutoring. Prior experience includes roles as an Art Teacher for Grades K-12 and a Grade 6 Science and Literacy Teacher at New Haven Public Schools. Alexandra holds a Specialist degree in Arts Integration from The Institute for Arts Integration and STEAM, a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching from Quinnipiac University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, Art History, and Anthropology from Ithaca College.
