Tun S.

Tun S. has extensive experience in data engineering and leadership roles. Tun most recently worked at Quix as the VP of Data / DevRel, where they led the data strategy and development relations. Prior to that, they were the Head of Data at Trint, where they transformed the company into a self-service analytics and data science organization. Tun also served as the Head of Data / Lead Data Engineer at Homegate AG, where they built a modern data platform and coached senior management on data strategy. Tun has also worked as a Consultant Data Engineer / Lead at 101 Ways, a Data Engineer at ClearScore, and a Data Engineer at IG. Tun has experience in migrating legacy databases, building data pipelines, and delivering data products. Additionally, Tun has been involved in entrepreneurship, serving as the CTO and Founder of occipital.io and the Technical Architect and Founder of Cura TV.

Tun S. obtained an MSc degree in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London from 2000 to 2001. Before that, from 1997 to 2000, Tun S. completed a BSc degree in Molecular Genetics at King's College London. Tun S. also has additional certifications, including Sun Certified Programmer, Java 2 Platform 1.4, and Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Java 2 Platform 1.4, both obtained in 2004 from Sun Microsystems.
