Karen Murphy

Karen Murphy is the VP of Sales for Quizizz North America. Karen has over 20 years of experience in sales and education.

Karen started their career as an English teacher in the Washoe County School District. Karen then moved to Long Beach Unified School District and taught reading and English for two years. In 2009, they became the Florida Lead/YMCA National Accounts Manager for LTS Education Systems. And in 2014, they joined Pearson Education as a sales representative.

During their time at Pearson, Karen was a two-time Top Performer. In 2017, they left Pearson to join Remind as a Senior Regional Sales Manager. Karen was with Remind for four years before joining Quizizz in 2021.

Karen Murphy has a teaching credential in secondary English from Concordia University Irvine, a BA in English from Chapman University, and certifications from LinkedIn in Elearning Essentials: Storyboarding and Pearson in Pearson Applied Selling Skills (PASS).

Karen Murphy reports to Ankit Gupta, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Connor Pierson - VP, Marketing & Customer Success, Ali Good - Global Head of Strategy & Product Marketing, and Prakhar Gupta - Head of Design.
