Herbert Siu

Herbert Siu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2018, they co-founded and became the CEO of QuokkaHR, a people management platform. Prior to this, they worked as an Investment Director at Octopus Investments from 2015 to 2017. In 2014, they served as an Investment Principal at Bee Holdings. Herbert also has experience at larger corporations such as Microsoft, where they were the CFO for OEM UK in 2013, and J.P. Morgan, where they worked as an Associate in M&A (IBD) in 2012. Their career started in 2004 at New World Development Company Limited, where they held the position of Assistant Manager until 2011.

Herbert Siu pursued their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Hons) degree in Finance and Economics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. In 2007 to 2008, they furthered their studies with a Postgraduate degree in Accounting and Financial Management from The University of Hong Kong. Later, they attended the London Business School from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained their MBA degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Herbert Siu obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2010. In 2009, they achieved both the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute, as well as membership with the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts. Furthermore, Herbert Siu recently obtained the Certified ESG Planner certification from the International Chamber of Sustainable Development in January 2023.
