Heather Wilde

Heather Wilde has an extensive and diverse work experience. Heather currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at theDifference, a role they started in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Strategic Innovation Officer at AFWERX starting from October 2019. Before that, Heather was the Director at Serenze Global, starting in June 2019. Heather also held the position of Chairman Advisory Board (Immediate Past) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where they played a crucial role in shaping the curriculum for engineering and computer science students. Starting from 2014, Heather worked as the Unicorn Whisperer and CTO at ROCeteer Inc, focusing on coaching, mentoring, and consulting small businesses and startups globally, as well as leading teams and shaping the technical vision of the company. Heather co-founded TWIP - Travel With Interesting People in 2016 and served as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for developing software and managing design teams. Additionally, Heather served as an Advisory Board Member at Rebel Venture Fund, Partnerships/Sponsorships Director & Organizer at TEDxLasVegas, and Business Mentor/Advisor at FOOD-X, an international business accelerator program for food-related ventures. Heather Wilde pursued their education in a chronological manner, with their earliest academic endeavor being at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1994 to 1995. During this time, they focused on Aerospace Engineering, although no degree is specified. Following this, they attended St. John's College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Literature. Lastly, in 1998 to 1999, they attended the University of Cambridge and obtained a Certificate of Medieval Studies with a specialization in Medieval British Literature.
