James Clark

James Clark has a diverse work experience spanning from 1991 to 2021. James started their career at Ernst & Young, where they held various roles for seven years. James then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Manager for three years. After that, they worked as the Finance Manager/Group Financial Accountant for Thistle Hotels for three years.

In 2005, James joined BOC Gases as an Interim SOX Accountant before moving on to Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc. At Morrisons, they held the positions of Group Financial Reporting Manager and later Head of Finance Solutions and Support, where they led a change program and oversaw the implementation of an Oracle system.

From 2016 to 2019, James served as a Director/Trustee at Making A Difference Locally, where they directed the team to reduce cash holdings and refocused the organization's efforts. James then joined Nisa Retail as the Group Financial Controller and was later promoted to Finance Director. In this role, they developed a 4-year strategy and improved management reporting.

Currently, James is working as the Head of Financial Control at Quorn Foods. James'sresponsibilities include leading corporate accounting, liaising with external auditors, and supporting the ongoing development of the finance team.

James Clark attended Haberdashers' Aske's, Elstree from 1975 to 1986. James then went on to complete their MA in Mathematics at the University of Oxford from 1986 to 1989.
