Ed Cunningham

Ed Cunningham has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in executive roles. Ed currently holds the position of Vice President Operations for the Southern Illinois Region at Quorum Health, a role they have been in since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Gateway Regional Medical Center, a Quorum Health Corporation hospital, from 2013 to 2020. Before that, they held the same position at Crossroads Community Hospital, another Quorum Health Corporation hospital, from 2007 to 2013. Ed also founded their own company, Cunningham Consulting Company, where they worked as a Chief Executive Officer focused on healthcare consulting from 2006 to 2007. Ed was also the Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Greenwood Specialty Hospital from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they held the role of Regional Vice President of Operations and Chief Executive Officer at Lagniappe Hospital under Promise Healthcare, Inc. from 2002 to 2004. Ed's early career includes serving as the President of Medical Third Party Resources, Inc. from 1997 to 2002.

Ed Cunningham completed their Master of Science in Health Administration from Lindenwood University in June 2018. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ball State University.
