Brian Steele is currently the Head of Assay Development at AliveDx, where they focus on developing a next-generation automated platform for clinical diagnostics. They previously held various roles at Quotient Limited, culminating in their position as Department Leader in Immunohaematology. Brian completed a PhD in Molecular Biology in 2010 and a Joint BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Pharmacology in 2006. Prior to their current role, they served as a Scientific Advisor at Java Clinical Research Ltd and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin. In addition, they earned a Modern Apprenticeship in Management from the Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in 2014.
