Ahmad al Kawam

Ahmad Al Kawam is a seasoned computational biologist with extensive experience in leveraging AI and machine learning to derive insights from genomic data, particularly in cancer research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at Quotient Therapeutics since September 2024, Ahmad previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Nested Therapeutics from September 2022 to June 2024. During a four-year tenure at Blueprint Medicines, Ahmad advanced from Scientist I to Senior Scientist I, developing an ML-powered New Targets ID Platform and managing CRISPR data workflows. Ahmad's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, complemented by a Master's in Computer Engineering from Lebanese American University and a Bachelor's in Computer and Communications Engineering from Rafik Hariri University.
