Junfeng Wang has worked in the field of medicine since 2011. In that year, they began as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. In 2016, they moved to the Cancer Center at Sun-Yat Sen University as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they led a team of three Ph.D. students and developed a screening procedure to identify significant molecules influential in the effectiveness of tumor-derived factors. Junfeng also published in top-impact journals and received three grants/awards. In 2019, they moved back to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Qureator.
Junfeng Wang has an extensive education history. From 2010 to 2016, they attended TongJi Medical College of HUST, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Internal Medicine. From 2005 to 2010, they attended Xinxiang Medical University and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Clinical Medicine. In addition to their educational background, Junfeng Wang has obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they received a Good Clinical Practice Certificate from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network. In February 2022, they were awarded a Certificate of Recognition for Remarkable and Worthy Oral Presentation from the Scientific Committee of the 10th Edition Webinar on Breast Cancer. In September 2021, they were given a Certificate of Service as Guest Editor of Special Issue "Oncoimmunity and Immunotherapy in Solid Tumors" from Biomedicines MDPI.
