Tamar Getter

Tamar is the Head of Scouting and Drug Development activities at Quris, with over 10 years of experience in hit-to-lead drug discovery practice. Prior to joining Quris, Tamar served as a R&D associate at FutuRx, a leading Israeli biotech incubator, dedicated to transforming breakthrough discoveries into novel medicines. Her role included Global Scouting, in-depth scientific and commercial due diligence of novel therapeutics along with drug discovery and medicinal chemistry leadership. Her experience in both startup and corporate settings spans strategy, business development, R&D, and operations. Tamar completed her post-doctoral training at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and the University of California, Irvine, where she studied the biochemistry of vision. Tamar holds a Ph.D. in Computational and Medicinal Chemistry from Bar-Ilan University. In her free time, Tamar enjoys outdoor activities and Pilates.
