Pieter Buzing

Pieter Buzing is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, including quantum computing, data science, and security. Currently employed at QuTech since December 2023, Pieter previously worked at West IT Solutions from March 2016 to December 2023, focusing on data-driven software solutions. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Riscure, where improvements to analysis tools were designed and implemented, and at Netframe, where Pieter led a development team in data mining and information management. Pieter also served as a PhD student at Delft University of Technology, researching dynamic planning methods in distributed environments, and briefly as a Business Intelligence Specialist at INITI8. An earlier role included software development for TJIP B.V. from January 2008 to January 2010, primarily working with .NET web services and XML technology. Pieter holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, obtained in 2003.
