Michael Trulock

Michael Trulock has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and information protection. Michael has held various roles within different companies. Most recently, they worked at Quzara LLC as the Compliance Engineering and Architecture Manager. Prior to that, they were an IAM Delivery Manager at Black Knight and a Principal Identity and Access Management Architect at Whole Foods Market. Their previous positions include the roles of Identity and Access Managment Solution Architect at Delta Air Lines, Senior Cyber Security Architect at Truist, and Security Engineer at First Data Corporation. Before that, they worked as an Information Security Architect at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and as a Senior Associate at KPMG. Michael also gained experience as a Security & Risk Consultant at Accenture and as an Information Security Associate and Technology Analyst at Freddie Mac.

Michael Trulock attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Information Technology Security Specialist. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2010, they achieved the National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Instruction (NSTISSI) Competency Credential. Later, in April 2013, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)². In July 2016, they earned the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification, also through (ISC)². Most recently, in February 2022, they became a Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer.
