Ran Romano

Ran Romano's work experience started in 2014 at VMware, where they worked as a Software Engineer in the Cloud Provider Software Business Unit. In this role, they contributed to projects such as designing and implementing custom Swagger annotation support for the open source Xenon framework.

In 2016, Romano joined Wix.com as a Software Engineer in Data Infrastructure, where they worked until 2019. Ran then took on the position of Machine Learning Engineering Team Lead until 2021. In 2020, they also became an Engineering Manager in Data & ML.

Currently, Romano is the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering at Qwak, a position they started in 2021.

Ran Romano completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Reichman University between 2012 and 2015. Ran further pursued their education at Reichman University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from 2017 to 2021.
