Diego Camizotti

Diego Camizotti is currently working as the Principal Cloud Engineer at 66degrees, where they have led diverse engineering teams in projects using Google Cloud. Diego has achieved a 30% increase in customer satisfaction and 25% in team productivity. Their responsibilities include automating business continuity practices, high availability, and disaster recovery for a major e-commerce company. Diego has also conducted SRE workshops for operational teams and led the cloud migration of over 2 thousand VMs to Google Cloud.

Prior to their current role, Diego worked at CI&T as a Senior Lead Software Engineer, managing teams of 20 in the complete lifecycle of large-scale product creation. Diego launched a consumer-facing web application in 16 countries and released a React Native mobile banking app, boosting customer base and satisfaction.

Diego has also had experience as a Guest Speaker at GitLab, a Senior Software Engineer at Resource IT Solutions, and as a Software Engineer at Honda, Neomobile, Tecnologia Bancária S.A. - TECBAN, CPM Braxis Capgemini, and Claro.

Diego Camizotti earned a Bacharel Degree in Management Information Systems from Universidade São Judas Tadeu between 2005 and 2010. Diego has also obtained various certifications, including Cloud Digital Leader, Professional Cloud Database Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, and Associate Cloud Engineer, all from Google Cloud. Most of these certifications were obtained in December 2022, except for the Professional Cloud Architect certification, which was obtained in November 2022.
