Jason R. T. has had a varied work experience. Jason R. began their career in 2005 as an Upward Bound Teacher at Marquette University. In 2013, they worked as a Department Supervisor at Home Depot and a CCA Training Supervisor at the United States Postal Service. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Electrician at Terminal-Andrae Inc and Pace Electric. In 2019, they worked as a Master Electrician at Lemberg. In 2021, they were a Field Procurement Manager at Johnson Controls. Currently, they are a Solutions Engineer at R-Zero, where they are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing creative solutions to challenges associated with installing and operating R-Zero's product suite in high value customer locations. Jason R. also works with the Product Development and Growth Operations teams to maintain tight communication regarding the function, design, and manufacture of R-Zero's products, as well as providing insight into capturing customer requests from the field and integrating them into the design of R-Zero's products. From 2005 to 2013, Jason R. T. was a Product Engineer, Electrical Overhead Standards and Equipment, Substation Engineer/Project Manager, and Associate Electrical Engineer at We Energies. During this time, they managed multifunctional teams to support functional objectives, allocated resources to support performance of field operations and training, supervised capital and operations budgets of more than $5M in assets, led more than 30 projects with budgets up to $250K that focused on upgrade failing infrastructure, performed load analysis on the electric system, estimated peak loading demand for southeastern Wisconsin, developed outage and contingency plans for the electrical system, updated existing and created new software programs to interact with logic systems throughout southeastern Wisconsin, maintained database spreadsheets for SCADA statistics, and designed logic diagrams for processes that occur throughout the city when electric power is interrupted.
Jason R. T. attended Marquette High School from 1994 to 1998, and then went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University between 1998 and 2005.
