Adam Furgal

Adam Furgal is the current head of Delivery Services at R3. Adam has over a decade of experience in the banking industry, having served in various leadership positions at Barclays from February 2008 to April 2016. These positions include Director, Personal and Corporate Banking (PCB), Director, Head of Customer Journey Automation, Corporate Banking Technology, and Director, Strategy and Transformation, Personal and Corporate Banking Technology. In these roles, Adam was responsible for leading large-scale agile transformations, automating customer journeys, and developing and executing strategies. Adam also oversaw a £10M annual change budget and 100+ team members in Debt Finance and Pricing Technology for the Corporate Bank. Prior to Barclays, Adam served as Vice President, Solutions Architect, Risk and Finance Technology Office where they were responsible for end to end design and integration architecture for Group Risk and Corporate Risk in Europe, Asia and Africa. Adam has a proven track record in leading successful teams and driving innovation and productivity while achieving cost savings.

Adam Furgal has a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.

They work with Keiji Sakai - Head of Brazil, Clive Cooke - Head of Business Development, and Katerina Ostrovsky - Head of Sales Operations. Their manager is Cathy Minter, Chief Revenue Officer.
