Lara Tarpley

Lara Tarpley is a Junior Software Engineer at Rabbet. Lara previously worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at the Sanger Learning Center and as a Research and Evaluation Intern at Communities In Schools of Central Texas.

Lara Tarpley has always been interested in education and helping others. Lara started their career in education as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, creating and teaching interactive lessons to supplement Macroeconomics classes. Lara also supported in-coming freshman students, helping them form effective study habits and find ways to meet new people.

While working as a Research and Evaluation Intern, Lara Tarpley conducted statistical analysis of quantitative data, analyzed student and mentor survey data, and conducted an extensive literature review. This experience was invaluable in helping their understand how to effectively research, evaluate data, and find trends and patterns.

Lara Tarpley’s experience in education and research has helped their excel in their current position as a Junior Software Engineer at Rabbet. Lara is able to use their skills to effectively research and solve problems, and their experience with data analysis has been helpful in designing and developing software applications.

Lara Tarpley has a certificate in software engineering from Thinkful and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.

Lara Tarpley works with Don Mallory - Junior Software Engineer, Chris Shea - Software Engineer, and Michael Miller - Senior Software Engineer. Their manager is Stephen Lee, Director of Engineering.
