Dr. Amanda Davies PhD is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in policing and security. Currently serving as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Home Team Academy and a Senior Researcher & Curriculum Content Developer at Charles Sturt University, Dr. Davies also holds a position as a Contract Research Fellow and Program Chair in Policing and Security at Rabdan Academy. With previous roles including Academic Course Director and Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University, Dr. Davies has focused on evaluating professional police education programs and incorporating simulation techniques in learning. Dr. Davies' educational background includes a PhD in Police Education from Charles Sturt University, a Master of Education in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts from James Cook University. Current research projects involve the evaluation of body-worn camera implementations and strategies for improving Indigenous recruitment in law enforcement.
