Julie Barr, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has over 19 years of experience in various leadership roles in the field of Human Resources. Julie is currently working at Rack Room Shoes as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they lead strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day execution for two companies with a total of 5,000 employees and over 500 stores nationwide. Julie has demonstrated success in implementing sweeping, transformational change throughout all levels of the organization, including managing COVID-19 risk management by establishing policies and procedures to safely reopen stores and protect employees and customers.

Prior to their current role, Julie worked at Bank of America Merchant Services as a Human Resources Business Partner. Julie has also held positions at Precision Castparts - The Revert Group, Special Metals (A Precision Castparts Company), Northrup Grumman Synoptics, Maxon Furniture Inc., RSI Home Products, Newell Rubbermaid, Rubbermaid Home Products, and Irwin Industrial Tools in various human resources management roles.

Julie Barr, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Julie also obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In terms of certifications, Julie has achieved the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in 2015 and is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM) according to the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
