Diego Manrique

Diego Manrique is an experienced professional currently serving as a Knowledge Manager and Content Curator at Rädda Barnen - Save the Children Sweden since September 2022, where responsibilities include facilitating knowledge management and advocacy within the Child Rights Resource Centre team. Additionally, Diego serves as General Coordinator for the GCED Youth Network and as a Youth Programs Associate at UNESCO Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), both roles involving global programming and capacity building. Previous experience includes positions as Global Knowledge Mobilization Officer at IREX and Program Associate for Humanium Metal at IM Swedish Development Partner. Diego's earlier work involved serving as a Foreign Assistant at France Education International and as Associate Program Manager at the International Republican Institute, along with volunteer and ambassador roles focused on youth engagement in Guatemala. Diego holds an MSc in Development Studies from Lund University and multiple degrees in Political Science and International Relations from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
