David Watson

David Watson has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and technology industry since 2005. David began their career as a Sr. Systems Engineer with SAIC in 2005, followed by a role as a Subsea Controls & Boosting Specialist - Technical Project Manager with Chevron in 2007. In the same year, they also worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer - Cabin Electronic System (Contract) with Rockwell Collins (Contractor). In 2010, they became a Project Manager - Software (Contract) - 4K Sector Alignment Tool with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Contractor). From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer - Technology Integration Assurance Consultant with Athens Group. During this time, they also served as Co-Founder/Principal System Engineering Consultant with Saper Vedere Solutions. In 2017, they became a Sr. Systems Engineer - SpaceShipTwo - SS2-003/004 - WhiteKnightTwo with The Spaceship Company / Virgin Galactic. In 2021, they took on two roles: Sr Systems Engineer - MBSE - Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle Team (Contractor) with General Dynamics Land Systems and Sr Digital Engineering/Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) System Architect with skyTran. David is currently a Sr. Systems Engineer - Data-Driven Systems Engineering & Digital Transformation with Radian Aerospace.

David Watson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1998. David also holds a Certificate of Completion in Lifecycle Modeling Language from the Lifecycle Modeling Organization, obtained in February 2021.
