Carrie Johnson Horrocks

Carrie Johnson Horrocks, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Carrie most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Radiance Solar, a position they assumed in December 2022. Prior to that, they held the roles of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the same company. During their tenure as the CFO from June 2018 to September 2022, Carrie was responsible for overseeing the administrative, accounting, financial, human resource, and risk management operations of the company. Carrie also played a pivotal role in designing business strategies and setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

Before joining Radiance Solar, Carrie worked as an independent consultant from March 2014 to September 2016. In this capacity, they provided controllership and business support/advisory to clients across various industries. Notably, they led strategy development, process improvement, data analysis, and cost optimization for an international commodity logistics and procurement operation.

Carrie has also served in key financial roles at DAK Americas and Reznick Group. At DAK Americas, they worked as an Assistant Controller from June 2011 to March 2014. During this time, they gained expertise in US GAAP and IFRS and played a significant role in the IFRS conversion project and support of a start-up joint venture. Prior to their role as an Assistant Controller, Carrie served as a Senior Accountant at DAK Americas from April 2009 to June 2011.

Carrie began their career as an Associate & Intern in Audit at Reznick Group from January 2006 to August 2008.

Carrie Johnson Horrocks, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Carrie completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from Appalachian State University between 2002 and 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University, which they completed in the academic year 2006-2007.

In addition to their formal education, Carrie Johnson Horrocks has also obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. The certification was granted by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners, although the specific date is unknown.
