Carolina Zappia

Carolina Zappia has a strong background in application security and secure coding. Carolina began their career at Wipro in 2011 as an Application Security Analyst, where they supported enterprise clients with security audits, installed and configured static code analysis products, trained staff on application security, and collaborated with product management and engineering. Carolina then joined Accenture in 2015 as an Application Security Analyst, before moving on to Checkmarx in 2018 as an AppSec Solution Architect. In that role, they oversaw the implementation of the company's platform for new clients, provided customer training, and served as a point of contact for technical inquiries. In 2021, Carolina joined Codebashing as an Application Security Solution Expert, where they helped train developers in secure coding practices through a gamified learning experience. Carolina is currently working as a SecOps Product Lead at Radiant Security.

Carolina Zappia pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Southern California. Carolina attended the institution from 2007 to 2010.
