Oscar Chen

Oscar Chen is an accomplished software developer with extensive experience in software development, data sciences, and application development. Currently serving as the Lead Developer at BMO Radicle, Oscar leads software development operations for regulated carbon credit accounting software, designs architectural changes, implements new features, and mentors junior developers. Prior to this, Oscar collaborated with Alberta Health Services as a Consultant at the University of Calgary, where numerous research projects were supported through machine learning model development and web application implementation. As a Co-Founder of Cocatus, Oscar specialized in text processing and automated clinical encoding, overseeing the architectural design of a SaaS MVP. Oscar's background also includes serving as an Operations Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) and holding a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
