Maxie C. Jackson III

Maxie C Jackson III is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in public radio and multimedia platforms. Currently serving as the Executive Director at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee since September 2022, Jackson has also held significant roles such as Chief Content Officer at New England Public Media and Executive Director at Pacifica Foundation. As a Maynard 200 National Journalism Fellow, Jackson proposed The Emergence Project to address challenges in public media related to diversity and inclusion. Jackson's leadership as President & CEO of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters and as General Manager at WEAA 88.9 FM contributed to substantial growth and innovation in community broadcasting. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Telecommunications Management from Michigan State University and a BA in Mass Communications Broadcast Management from Morehouse College.
