Melisa Fisher

Melisa Fisher began their work experience as a Radiology file room clerk at HCA in 1998 and held this role until 2001. From 2001 to 2018, they worked as an On-Air Personality at WQLC Power Country 102.1 FM. In 2002, they joined HCA IT&S as a Patient Care Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of MRI Tech Assistant in 2004. From 2005 to 2016, Fisher served as an Imaging System Administrator at HCA IT&S, where they played a lead role in implementing a hospital-wide medical imaging application and trained medical staff and radiologists. In 2016, they became an Imaging Systems Administrator and took responsibility for the administration and support of PACS technical interface technologies. Fisher then joined Radiology Associates of Ocala, P.A. in 2019 as a TelAssist Support Manager and currently serves as the Director of Hospital Operations.

Melisa Fisher obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Kaplan University between the years 2016 and 2018. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Medical Secretary at ConCorde Career Institute from 1995 to 1996, specializing in Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary.
