Chris Joerg

Chris Joerg has extensive experience in the field of information security. Chris is currently employed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Radiology Partners, where they are responsible for transforming the radiology practice. Prior to this role, they served as the CISO at Cedars-Sinai, leading the Enterprise Information Security and IT Governance teams and successfully implementing cybersecurity strategies.

Chris also has experience at Unisys, where they held the position of Director of Global Information Security, overseeing a team of 28 and focusing on key security domains. Before that, they were the Director of Enterprise Security at Mentor Graphics, responsible for information and physical security strategies.

Chris has also held security-related positions at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Compucom, IBM - Internet Security Systems, Enstar Network Security, and the United States Air Force. Chris began their career as a Cryptographer at the US Naval Intelligence/National Security Agency.

Chris Joerg has an extensive education history. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. They then went on to earn a Master's Certificate in Business Management from Tulane University, attending from 2005 to 2006. Finally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management from Texas A&M University, studying from 2009 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Chris Joerg also holds several certifications. They have obtained certifications in CISA and CISM from ISACA, as well as a certification in CISSP from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2).
