Heather Atherton

Heather Atherton has a diverse work experience. Heather most recently worked as a Senior Radiologic Technologist at OhioHealth starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Blog writer since July 2021. From August 2019 to the present, they worked at Radiology Partners as a Clinical Communications Specialist, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving across multiple systems, as well as relaying medical results across hospital systems. Heather previously worked at OhioHealth as a Senior Radiologic Technologist from May 2017 to August 2019, operating radiologic equipment and ensuring patient care and safety. Before that, they worked as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist at Colonial City Internal Medicine from May 2010 to July 2014. Additionally, they served as an Animal Caretaker at Kenyon College from October 2011 to June 2012, caring for the animals in the psychology department.

Heather Atherton obtained their Associates Degree in Radiography Technology from Fortis College-Columbus between 2015 and 2017. Heather'smain field of study during this period was Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer. Before that, from 2009 to 2010, they attended Knox County Career Center where they earned a degree in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Specialist. This degree allowed their to become a National Certified Insurance and Coding Specialist.
