Shivani Patel

Shivani Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shivani began their career as an Instructor at Kumon, where they taught basic math and reading skills to young students. Shivani then worked as an Administrative Intern at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where they completed a project on reducing readmission rates and created a Physician Productivity Dashboard.

Following this, Patel joined Baylor College of Medicine as a Project Specialist in the Regulatory Affairs department. Shivani contributed to the development of new gene and immuno therapies and ensured compliance with accreditation standards. At Texas Children's Hospital, they served as a Project Analyst in the Cancer and Hematology Center, overseeing institutional funds and preparing budgets and financial reports.

Patel then transitioned to the role of Project Manager at Texas Children's Hospital, where they managed multi-million dollar accounts and worked on process improvement initiatives. Shivani developed system-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and utilized methodologies such as six sigma, lean, DMAIC, and PDSA. In their most recent position at Radiology Partners, Patel worked as a Practice Director, transforming teleradiology, managing a large team, and driving data and process improvement.

Throughout their career, Patel has demonstrated expertise in project management, financial analysis, process improvement, and leadership, particularly within the healthcare and medical research sectors.

Shivani Patel pursued their education at various institutions. From 2007 to 2012, they attended The University of Texas at San Antonio where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a specialization in General Biology. Following this, they advanced their education by enrolling at Texas State University, completing their Master's Degree from 2013 to 2015. Shivani'sMaster's Degree focused on Health/Health Care Administration/Management, allowing their to expand their knowledge in this field.
