Michael Heffernan

Michael Heffernan is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical and biomedical engineering fields, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at both Allterum Therapeutics and Radiomer Therapeutics. With extensive experience at Fannin Innovation Studio as Director of Research & Technology and Principal, Michael oversees the development of early-stage biomedical technologies. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Raptamer Discovery Group, Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, having earned both an M.S. from Virginia Tech and a B.S. from Duke University.
