Jerry O’Brien

Jerry has over 25 years’ experience across the in-vitro diagnostic and high-tech electronics industries, having held senior commercial, management and product development roles in start-up and early phase companies targeting US, Asia-Pacific and European markets.

An engineer by background, Jerry founded Radisens Diagnostics in 2009 to realise rapid blood testing into market niches with unmet needs. Prior to this, he was Product Marketing Director at Frontier Silicon, responsible for broadcast TV platforms and markets. While Silansys Semiconductor, he transitioned their business model to being product-based, resulting in the company’s acquisition by Frontier Silicon. His commercial and product expertise were incubated at Parthus (now CEVA), where he was Development Architect and led Technical Sales ahead of their IPO onto NASDAQ and LSE, before becoming Global Business Development Manager for their Wireless Division.

Jerry has a B.E. (‘94) and M.Eng.Sc (‘99) from University College Cork and an MBA (‘03) from Smurfit Business School, Dublin.
