Tasion Kwamilele

Tasion Kwamilele has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Educational Partnerships at Radius Recycling. In this position, they design educational and workforce initiatives and fosters relationships with high-schools, vocational institutions, and colleges/universities. Prior to this, Tasion worked as the Government & Public Affairs Manager at Schnitzer Steel Industries, where they developed and executed policies related to government relations and public relations. Tasion has also served as the Director of Public Relations & Community Engagement at California Waste Solutions, where they were responsible for branding, marketing, and community relations. Tasion has previously worked as the Communications Manager for Congresswoman Barbara Lee and as a Content Writer at Salesforce. Tasion's earlier experiences include roles as a Web Manager/Reporter at Post Newspaper Group and a Reporter at Fostering Media Connections.

Tasion Kwamilele completed a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley from 2011 to 2013 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from Howard University in 2011.
