Wolfe Family Endowed Chair In Microbiome Research at Rady Children's Hospital

Rob Knight holds the position of Wolfe Family Endowed Chair in Microbiome Research at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and is a Professor in Pediatrics as well as Computer Science & Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. As a co-founder of Micronoma and Technical Co-Founder of Biota Technology, Rob Knight has contributed significantly to the field of microbiome research. Additionally, Rob Knight serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, where roles include Professorships at the BioFrontiers Institute and in Chemistry & Biochemistry and Computer Science. Rob Knight earned a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Otago.
