Yari Jamali

Yari is a videographer, editor, and motion designer. A storyteller from a young age, he has dabbled with many mediums, including creative writing, stand-up comedy, and theatre.

Yari graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in communication. During his communications career, he worked with clients such as SEC, NIH, and the NSF.

As a video professional, he has worked for Voice of America, Newseum, AARP and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Yari obtained his masters degree in Film and Media Production from American University, where he took courses in photography, screenwriting, production, and motion graphics. Yari has edited some award-winning films in the DMV’s local festivals, including “In Harmony with the Community” and “The Haunting of John Tennally.
