Chad Hanna completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at James Madison University from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued further education at Southern New Hampshire University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Business Administration/Marketing, spanning from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, in November 2017, Chad obtained the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
