Steve Laird has over 30 years of work experience in the rail and steel industries. Steve currently works as the AVP - Sales & Marketing at RailUSA, LLC, where they are responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the Florida Gulf & Atlantic Railroad. Steve held various market manager roles, including Metals & Equipment, Sheet Steel & Power Gen/Dimensional Machinery, Sheet Steel & Plate, Mined Minerals, Lumber, and Fiber & Newsprint. In these positions, they were responsible for marketing, pricing, and business development activities in different markets within the company.

Steve's earlier work experience includes roles at Castle Metals, where they served as the National Product Manager for Carbon, Alloy & Stainless Plate and as the Inside Sales Manager. Steve also worked as an Outside Sales Representative, Strategic Account Manager, and Inside Sales Representative at the company.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, manage staff, and cultivate relationships with customers.

Steve Laird earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Purdue University. Steve attended the university from 1984 to 1988.
