Sohaib Zahid is an accomplished CEO and entrepreneur with a proven track record in the technology industry. Sohaib is currently the CEO of Railz, a leading provider of software solutions for the rail industry.

Sohaib has extensive experience in the software and technology sector. Sohaib was previously the CEO of Vanhawks, a company they co-founded in 2010 and successfully grew until it was acquired by Warren Industries in 2016. During their time at Vanhawks, Sohaib oversaw the day-to-day operations and led the company to become a market leader in the connected bike market.

After the acquisition of Vanhawks, Sohaib remained with Warren Industries as the CEO of the Vanhawks division. Sohaib oversaw the transition of the company and continued to grow its market share. In 2018, they left Warren Industries to join Kapacity, a startup that was acquired by SolarStream in 2019.

Sohaib has also spent time working in the non-profit sector. In 2011, they were selected as one of 20 participants from Canada to take part in the Uniterra International Seminar in Tra Vinh, Vietnam. Sohaib coordinated field research for Uniterra and wrote a research paper on “Youth in Socio economic work force in Vietnam”.
