Mirnas Brescic

Mirnas Brescic, CFA has extensive experience in treasury and finance roles. Mirnas is currently serving as the VP of Revenue at Rain, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Group Head of Treasury at Rain from April 2022 to February 2023.

Mirnas also worked at Bitpanda as a Treasury professional from January 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Rain and Bitpanda, Mirnas worked at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from November 2015 to September 2020. Mirnas held the position of Treasurer, where they were responsible for managing over EUR 700 million in cash and portfolio assets, overseeing bank relationships, executing investments, and managing foreign exchange and risk exposure. Mirnas also handled global payments amounting to €560 million in over 30 currencies. Prior to this role, Mirnas worked as a Treasury Associate at IAEA from March 2015 to November 2015.

Mirnas' earlier work experience includes a role as a Consultant - Accounting at OSCE from July 2013 to December 2014, where they prepared financial statements and disclosure reports. Mirnas also worked as a Consultant - Division of Budget and Finance at IAEA from May 2011 to June 2013, where they monitored bank transactions and reconciled bank statements.
