Roop G.

Roop G. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 2006, Roop worked as a Software Engineer at IBS Software Services, where they gained experience in manual testing and test script execution. They later took on the role of Team Leader, where they allocated resources and estimated efforts for the QA team.

In 2011, Roop joined Emirates Group as an IT Consultant and later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer. During this time, they focused on delivering quality assurance for various digital projects, including loyalty programs and responsive web and app development. Roop also played a key role in planning and leading end-to-end testing efforts across all stages.

Roop's career continued at Rain, a cryptocurrency trading platform, where they held positions as a Lead QA Engineer and later as a Principal Engineer. In these roles, they built and led a QE and Automation team, developed E2E test strategies and plans, and implemented Agile and DevOps principles.

Most recently, Roop joined Invenco by GVR as a Senior Test Analyst in 2023.

Roop G. obtained a B.Tech. degree in Electronics & Communication from Jitesh Vlog, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, Roop G. has obtained several certifications over the years, including ISTQB Certified Tester of Foundation Level in 2007 and Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist in 2018. They have also completed certifications in various areas of testing and product management, such as Agile Product Owner Role, Learning Selenium, and End-to-End JavaScript Testing with Cypress.io. Most recently, in 2021, Roop G. attended the Global Tester's Day 2021 event organized by QA Touch and obtained the certification for Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc.
