Allan Wagman

Allan Wagman is the EVP, Head of Chemistry & Technical Operations at Rain Therapeutics. Allan has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Allan started their career at Sagimet Biosciences where they were the Senior Director Chemistry, Head of Chemistry & CMC. Allan was responsible for medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, process chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and quality control. Allan also managed outsourced GMP manufacturing, stability studies, and supply chain.

In 2013, Allan joined 3-V Biosciences as a member of the senior management team. Allan was responsible for strategic planning and corporate budget forecasting/tracking. Allan also oversaw the medicinal chemistry research programs and supervised the medicinal chemistry, analytical, and formulations teams.

Allan has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Stanford University.

Allan Wagman has a post doc in organic chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a PhD in organic chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in organic chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.
