Juliana Jaramillo

Lead Agricultural Transformation (global) at Rainforest Alliance

Juliana Jaramillo is an accomplished professional in the field of agriculture with extensive experience in sustainable practices and research. Currently serving as Lead Agricultural Transformation, Lead Regenerative Agriculture, and Lead Sustainable Agriculture at Rainforest Alliance since December 2019, Juliana has also held the position of Associate Researcher at The University of Bonn since November 2019. Previous roles include Biodiversity Strategy Director and Global Scientist for Sustainable Agriculture at Bayer Crop Science. Juliana's early career features significant contributions as a Scientist at Leibniz Universität Hannover and as the founder of coffee entomology research at ICIPE. Juliana holds a PhD in Entomology/Biological Control/Integrated Pest Management and an MSc in Entomology/Phytopathology from Leibniz Universität Hannover, along with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidad de Caldas.
