Senior Venture Builder

As a Senior Venture Builder, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, developing, and launching a successful cleantech venture. You will work closely with a team of four other people to transform an innovative idea into a viable business model, leveraging your expertise in product development and your background in the cleantech/climate industry. This role offers the potential to become a founder of a transformative new venture.

Ideation and Validation

• Collaborate with the project lead to guide the ideation and validation of a new cleantech product/solution
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Engage with customer segments via qualitative and quantitative methods to understand their needs
• Understand how to best leverage the assets of our corporate partner to create a competitive advantage

Development and Strategy

• Develop and implement business strategies, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans that align with the partner’s strategic objectives
• Lead the development and implementation of business plans, including market entry strategies, revenue models, and risk mitigation plans for new ventures
• Work with a cross-functional team to design and build a new product/solution using agile methodologies

Leadership and Management

• Provide strategic direction and leadership alongside the project lead
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Engage with investors, partners, and other stakeholders to secure funding and strategic support
• Co-create and present business plans and progress reports to senior management and partners
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, customers, and partners
• Co-create an investment note communicating the insights generated to obtain corporate board endorsement.
