Carlos Alberto Griner

Current Vice President of People at Raízen. Possesses vast experience in large corporations and a multilateral career. Holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the COPPEAD Institute of Administration at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Started his career in Heavy Construction and Infrastructure, later moving to Quality and HR. Worked for almost ten years at Suzano Papel e Celulose as Executive Director of Human Resources, where he was also responsible for Sustainability, Institutional Relations, and Corporate Communications. His professional experience includes more than 10 years at GE in Brazil, the United States, and Mexico in the Aviation field, as well as Corporate Director of HR for Mexico and Latin America. Served for 5 years as VP of People and Sustainability at Embraer. Was a member of the Human Resources Committee of Grupo Abril for five years, on the board of Junior Achievement Brazil, Chairman of the Strategic People Management Committee of Amcham, and Director of ABRH-SP.
