Claudio Borges Teophilo Gaspar Oliveira

Vice President of Institutional Relations at Raízen, Cláudio is graduated in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and has a postgraduate degree in Marketing from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He holds specializations at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, and at the Kenan-Flager Business School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Cláudio started his career as an intern at ExxonMobil and moved to positions of increasing responsibility in many sectors of the Company. In Brazil and the in United States, he moved between the areas of supply, finance, institutional relations and trading. At Raízen, it is committed to contributing to the energy transition in Brazil through sustainable practices and a strong relationship with the sugar-energy sector. Cláudio is also an Advisory Councilor of the Brazilian Petroleum Institute – IBP working towards the development of a competitive and sustainable industry.
