Dr.basavaraj S Patil

Dr. Basavaraj S Patil serves as the Chief Operations Officer at RAK Ceramics since July 2016, overseeing one of the largest ceramics brands globally, which produces 118 million square meters of tiles and 5 million pieces of sanitaryware annually across the UAE, India, and Bangladesh. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at RAK India, where a 16.8% reduction in manufacturing costs was achieved in 2021 compared to 2019, and as AVP at Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, the largest manufacturer of ceramic/vitrified tiles in India. Dr. Patil also held roles at RAK Ceramics India Pvt. Ltd. from 1997 to 2011, including Plant Head, where Dr.Basavaraj S implemented ISO 9001 and European standards and was pivotal in converting a ceramic production facility to the first porcelain production plant. Academic qualifications include an MBA from The University of Bolton, a Doctorate in Management Studies from the Indian Institute Of Business Management And Studies, and a Bachelor of Engineering in ceramics and cement technology from PDA College of Engineering.
