Kiran B R is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Vice President of Technology and Director of Product Management at Rakuten India since August 2022. Previously, Kiran founded and led a tech startup as CEO from August 2015 to August 2022. Kiran's career includes significant roles as Senior Product Manager at Simpa Networks, Systems and Business Development Manager at Texas Instruments, and multiple positions at Ittiam Systems Pvt Ltd and Philips, including Research Scientist and Software Engineer. Kiran holds an M.Tech in VLSI Design Tools & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication from the University of Mysore.
