Muqtafi Akhmad

Muqtafi Akhmad is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Rakuten, Muqtafi is responsible for developing and maintaining a data pipeline platform that aggregates data from over 70 business units, offering consultations and support to users, as well as conducting technical interviews. Previously, as a Data Scientist at Micron Technology, Muqtafi contributed to various data science projects focused on high-volume manufacturing, including analytics platforms and machine learning tools. Earlier roles included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Traveloka, where Muqtafi led teams in developing data ingestion platforms and backend services, as well as working as a Programmer at PT LAPI Divusi and a Lab Assistant at Institut Teknologi Bandung. Muqtafi holds a Doctor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
