Steven Hollands

Steven Hollands is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industry. Currently serving as Engineering Group Director and Board Member at Cadence Design Systems since July 2020, Steven previously held significant roles at Synopsys Inc from April 2000 to June 2020, including R&D Director for EDA Cloud Engineering & Signoff Product Group and R&D Operations Director for Europe. Steven's career also includes leadership as an Expedition Leader at Raleigh International since November 2019, contributions as a Senior Engineering Staff member at Cadence Design Systems from April 1997 to April 2000, and impactful work as a Hardware Engineer at Lucas Aerospace. Steven began professional training as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer in the Royal Navy from April 1985 to 1991. Steven earned a BEng(Hons) 1st Class in Computing Science & Microelectronics from Nottingham Trent University between 1991 and 1995.
