Job description

We are looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst who is responsible for developing test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications, functional and regression testing of system changes and software enhancements, and documenting and delivering solutions to clients.

The corporate office for RAM is officially in Fort Washington, PA, but the company operates as a fully remote business. As such, this position is 100% remote and allows you to live anywhere in the U.S. and work from your home office. RAM does not provide sponsorship for U.S. employment and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Developing and executing software test plans and documenting their results.

*Identifying and facilitating issue resolution with functional and technical groups.

*Writing SQL queries.

*Assisting with the creation of user documentation.

*Working as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS:

*1 to 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in the healthcare (Health Insurance/Payer) industry

*Functional and regression testing experience and knowledge of software testing tools

*Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

*Ability to interact directly with programming staff as well as clients

*Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

*Knowledge of the healthcare industry, ability to read programming, and EDI experience is a plus

*Relational database knowledge with experience writing SQL queries

*Knowledge of Unix a plus

*Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel
